Untuk minggu ini sahaja, beban kerja sememangnya melebihi kapasiti kemampuan. Kerja-kerja di c2ec
perlu diurus dengan sempurna kerana minggu ini aku akan menghabiskan banyak masa untuk latihan menari sempena Malaysian night yang tinggal beberapa hari lagi. Di office, lambakan journal untuk dibaca belum bersentuh satu pun. Dalam pada tu, aku masih berhutang dua paper dengan Dr. Feng yang perlu di'submit untuk conference musim panas di Barcelona University dan satu lagi belum diputuskan sama ada mahu ke California Berkeley atau ke Milan sahaja.
Monday, I got email from Prof. Dr Lee who are President of Concrete Society of Malaysia. He asked if I can arrange any seminar about foamed concrete in Wales. He want go over to give a talk on the topic of new application of foamed concrete as one of Malaysia techology. I thought it is a great oppornunity to working closely with him, well....I am Malaysian and always prepare to contribute my services. Foamed concrete has been used in the SMART tunnel project and there have special test method under Malaysian pattern. More surprisely, I have invited to contribute as co-author. Prof. Dr. Lee and Dr. Ahmad Mujahid who are currently working at UTHM have plan to write a book on foamed concrete this year. Since my research area is about finite element analysis on impact and blasting loading, then I have idea to use foamed concrete as crash barrier and defence application. Wow.....this topic should be my post-doctorate study. In doubt, I still don't have any idea neither to involve or not.

Aktiviti sosial dihujung minggu seperti biasalah adalah Malaysian Night practise. Tak tahu lah, aku canggung menari and need more practises. Apa yang aku rasa setiap kali datang practise adalah macam membuang masa sahaja. Bab janji melayu tu biasalah, janji pukul 10.30am, pukul 12.30pm baru muncul. Latihan menari nyer sekejap jer, duduk-duduk berangin yang lebih. Apa-apa pun tunggulah 27 Februari 2009 nie, warga Swansea please support us.

Bertambah sibuk pulak minggu ini, I am unoffciaally appointed as unqualified co-supervisor to Shahrul Niza. Hahaha....Shahrul Niza is my best friend who are master student in UTM, Skudai. His project similar with my phd topic but his run the finite element model under Abaqus. Huhhh.....along this week I spent all my afternoon to study Abaqus theory. Sedikit sebanyak, harap-harap dapatlah membantu disamping sebagai new knowledge. Actually, the application of Abaqus for the modelling purpose is proposed by me....padanlah muka, nak advanced dan gempak sangat.....ambik ko.
